The Sundays River is the third largest tidal-river in South Africa with 14 km of navigable waters for boating. The river tidal flow is relatively mild compared to other large tidal rivers and is ideal for all types of watersport (incl. Jet-Ski”s). Fishing is excellent all year round with the main species being caught Grunter and Cobb. The surf at the Sundays River mouth is well known for the Chad, and “leer vis”. Boats on hire by request.
